Job Description
Supervise up to 25 employees in the assembly department. Job is on either 2nd or 3rd shift. The candidate will probably rotate between departments every 1-2 years (Quality, Distribution, Materials, or Production). Organize work to meet production schedule. Responsible for productivity, efficiencies and teambuilding. Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are maintained. Select, train, devolop and review staff. Idenify problem areas and set priorities. No paid overtime except on Weekends, you get $100 for any day worked.

Buyer/Planner

Requirements

3 - 5 years as a Buyer/Planner (preferably more scheduling experience)
Inventory control experience highly desired
GIGMRP experience (Implementation a plus)
Cellular manufacturing a plus
Out of an electrical/mechanical environment
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to work through cultural change (change agent)
Strong enough to be a Materials Manager within 1-3 years

Job Description
This is a brand new facility. 70% scheduling, 30% buying. Schedule 4 production lines (high volume equipment) utilizing MRP. Purchase metal stampings, machine parts, motors, power cords, plastics, etc. (About $20 million worth). Assist in the phase II implementation of MRP. Help transition the company to a JIT cellularized environment. Inventory management.

Production Supervisor

Requirements

B.S. Degree in ChemE, Chemistry, Food Science ie. technical
3 years experience in supervision of production, warehousing, engineering, planning is a plus
Consumer product experience (pharm, cosmetics, healthcare, foods) or a batch fine specialty chemicals mftr which has an emphasis on quality, packaging exp is a plus
TQM and IS09000 exp a plus
Ability to work the 3rd shift
Hands on, team oriented and respects the opinions of operators
(non-union)Enthusiastic, excellent work ethic
Must be promotable, the candidate will be looked at for management and plant management roles

Job Description
Responsible for the supervision of six mixers in the 3rd shift blending operation. Manage labor, quality, financial and safety goals. Also handle project work as necessary. Project are generally $50k - $100k (replacing pumps, upgrading equipment). If it is a larger function the incumbent will work with corporate for help. The person will find and prevent problems in production processes. Ordering, installation is handled by the supervisor.

Production Planner

Requirements

2 - 6 months experience in an MRP driven environment (must have MRP experience)
Bachelors Degree, Open on type
Shop floor control experience preferred

Job Description
Release production work orders for department utilizing MRP. Purchase metal, cables, and electronic components (low dollar values). Maintain item, date, and quantify accuracy of production schedule.

Requirements

4 year college
1 - 3 years as a Production Scheduler/Planner
Assembly enviroment or consumer products
Must have MRP EXPERIENCE
Hi volume, fast paced environment
Must be a fast tracker, highly promotable
