Buyer/Planner
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years as a Buyer/Planner (preferably more scheduling experience)
- Inventory control experience highly desired
- GIGMRP experience (Implementation a plus)
- Cellular manufacturing a plus
- Out of an electrical/mechanical environment
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work through cultural change (change agent)
- Strong enough to be a Materials Manager within 1-3 years

Job Description
This is a brand new facility. 70% scheduling, 30% buying. Schedule 4 production lines (high volume equipment) utilizing MRP. Purchase metal stampings, machine parts, motors, power cords, plastics, etc. (About $20 million worth). Assist in the phase II implementation of MRP. Help transition the company to a JIT cellularized environment. Inventory management
Production Scheduler
Requirements
- 4 year college
- 1 - 3 years as a Production Scheduler/Planner
- Assembly enviroment or consumer products
- Must have MRP EXPERIENCE
- Hi volume, fast paced environment
- Must be a fast tracker, highly promotable
- Team Builder, aggressive, determined, initiative, pride
- Excellent communication skills, high energy level

Job Description
Plan production for 2 product lines utilizing MRP type software. One of 5 planners in purchasing /materials department. Reports to the PIC manager. Total of 12 employees in department.
